Calcutta South Club is one of the few clubs in Asia that has 17 tennis courts at its disposal. Out of these total 17 courts, six are clay courts, five are Synthetic Courts and six are Grass Courts. The Grass Courts are the main attraction for its members and guests and are seasonal in nature operating between Mid- December to Mid-June. Clay Courts and Synthetic Courts are used throughout the year.

Playing Members have the privilege of Members Playing Day which are presently on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday Afternoon and Public Holidays. The members play on different surfaces depending on the season. Registered Users may play tennis during the morning and evening sessions. A subsidized program called 'Promotional Tennis Scheme' is operational between 10 am and 2 pm inclusive of Tennis tournament players.
